The Canton Area School District currently serves1,055 students in the townships of Canton and LeRoy, in Bradford County; the townships of McIntyre and McNett, in Lycoming County; the township of Union in Tioga County and the borough of Canton. We have a beautiful centralized campus with one newly renovated elementary school and one newly renovated Jr/Sr High school. Our students continue to display strong performances in many different programs and various extracurricular activities. Over 70% of our graduates move on to post-secondary educational institutions. The Northern Tier Career Center in Towanda, PA provides quality vocational-technical education to the youth and adults of Bradford County and the Northern Tier by providing a curriculum, facility, and faculty that is responsible to the needs of business, the employment areas, and the students enrolled. The Northern Tier Career Center offers continuing education for adult students including CDL Class A truck driving training and Continuing Education classes through Penn State. The Sayre Area School District is comprised of Sayre Borough, South Waverly Borough and Litchfield Township. The district is located on the Pennsylvania - New York State border mid-way between Towanda, Pennsylvania and Elmira, New York. It is generally considered to be an industrial-business area within a rural county. More than 180 persons are employed by the district with two thirds of them being professional staff members. Some 12,000 persons reside in the district and two elementary buildings and one junior-senior high school serve approximately 1260 pupils.
Towanda Area School District has operated three buildings in a consolidated campus setting since the 2006-2007 school year. The primary grades, K4-2 attend J. Andrew Morrow Primary School. Grades 3-6 attend Towanda Area Elementary School, and grades 7-12 attend Towanda Jr/Sr High School. Currently there are 1,619 students attending our district.
The Troy Area School District is a school district of the third class organized under State law in Bradford County, PA. It is coterminous with the boroughs of Alba, Burlington, Sylvania and Troy, and the townships of Armenia, Burlington, Columbia, Granville, South Creek, Springfield, Troy, Wells and West Burlington. It is situated in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on approximately 275 square miles, and is bordered by the County of Tioga on the west, the state of New York on the north, and by other Bradford county Townships on the east and south.
