VISION: To provide all students with the knowledge and skills necessary to reach their potential in a global community through high expectations of academic achievement, diverse educational opportunities, and community involvement in a safe environment. MISSION: Empowering all students to succeed in a changing world.
We believe that education is an individual process whereby a child grows in knowledge and skills at a rate unique to his/her ability and surroundings. The Frederick Area School District #6-2 is, therefore, dedicated to the purpose of providing the most stimulating environment of human and material resources that the economy of the area will allow. OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE QUALITY EDUCATION FOR ALL STUDENTS!
Mission Statement: The Groton Area School will foster a climate conducive to learning by encouraging good behavior and citizenship, good attendance, a thirst for knowledge, and high academic standards. Teachers will employ strategies and approaches to instruction to meet the needs of all children assigned to them. With proper motivation and instruction, all children can learn.
SD School for the Blind & Visually Impaired - Mission: Preparing students to step forward with confidence and a vision of lifetime success. The South Dakota School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (SDSBVI) has been designated by state law to provide a variety of services to meet the individual needs of students in South Dakota who are visually impaired, blind, or deaf-blind. As a part of the state’s educational system, the school does not charge for tuition, room, and board or fees for any services provided by the school or staff, including educational assessments.
The Warner School District has always had a tradition of strong academic achievement, and we want to continue to build upon our tradition for excellence and provide opportunities for all children to excel. In order to continue to raise the level of student performance and overall program quality, we recognize the need to attract and retain the very best teachers, administrators, and support staff. We also recognize the important role parents have in the education of their children. We encourage the active participation between home and school in each child's educational journey. We have also acknowledged that the technology that has so dramatically changed the world outside our school is now changing the learning and teaching environment within it. With this in mind, we are driven to provide technology that will provide opportunities for learner-control, increased motivation, and connections to the real world. We believe that through our shared support and commitment, we can challenge our students to be prepared for the 21st Century.
