Barbers Hill ISD is a suburban district encompassing 192.3 square miles in western Chambers County, Texas, strategically located at the intersection of Interstate 10 and State Highway 146. Its borders consist of the Trinity River on the east to Harris County line on the west; encompassing Trinity Bay on the south to Liberty County line on the North. This large area contains four distinct communities (Mont Belvieu, Old River-Winfree, Cove, and Beach City) brought together by a common bond: the school system. The Barbers Hill Independent School District provides instruction at the highest level of quality so that all students can learn to the best of their abilities and develop a positive self concept, regardless of socioeconomic or cultural background.
