Welcome to Geraldine Public Schools website and to the Geraldine Public Schools. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with the Board of Trustees, Community Members, Staff, and Students to ensure the continued success of our school district. As members of this community and with the success of our students at the heart of our decisions, I would encourage you to share your opinions and thoughts with me anytime. Remember that this is our community, our school, and our children.

Being in Highwood and Highwood School has been such a blessing for me. I am continually in awe of the teachers and support staff. It’s amazing how everyone pitches in and pulls together when needed. That is not typical of other places I’ve been, but is the status quo here. Part of the reason, I’m sure, is that we are small and in order to keep things running, everyone lends a hand, but a major reason is that is the culture of our community and school. In other words it’s ingrained.
You have heard me comment over and over that Highwood parents work hard. Even though there are new people to the community and new students to our school, that work ethic has not changed. If it weren’t for our parents and their commitment to their children we would not have concessions, we would not have booster club, we would not have the Winter Formal, we would not have the Junior-Senior Banquet and we would not have the commitment to excellence in academics and sports.
