Clay County School System has 2100 students enrolled for the 2009-10 school year. The system has four schools, Ashland Elementary (K-6), Clay County High (7-12) located in Ashland and Lineville Elementary (K-6) and Lineville High (7-12) located in Lineville. The Central Office and Bus Shop are located in Ashland.
