BLAIR OAKS R-II
The campus of the Blair Oaks R-II School District is located approximately 5 miles south of Jefferson City in Wardsville. Our campus consists of three school buildings, Blair Oaks Elementary School (grades K-4), Blair Oaks Middle School (grades 5-8), and Blair Oaks High School (grades 9-12). The District serves the students from the communities of Osage Bend, Taos, St. Thomas, and Wardsville. Student enrollment in the Blair Oaks R-II School District has increased sharply in the last few years. The September enrollment (K-12) for the 2010-2011 school year is 1,072 students. Over the last five years, the Blair Oaks R-II School District ranked as the second fastest growing K-12 school district in Missouri. The Blair Oaks R-II School District seeks to provide its students with a sound comprehensive learning environment. Blair Oaks’ students set lofty curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular goals. The District has been recognized 8 of the last 10 years with “Distinction in Academic Performance,” while finishing in the top four at state 22 times (including 8 state championships) in multiple athletic competitions. The Blair Oaks R-II School District looks forward to serving the Blair Oaks community for years to come.

Mission Statement The mission of the Cole County R-V School District is to create an environment that will raise the performance of all students and to provide the opportunity to maximize physical, emotional, social and intellectual development. In a climate of mutual respect and cooperation, students will develop as: self-directed learners, effective communicators, problem solvers, collaborative workers and responsible citizens.
