MISSION STATEMENT: We, the teaching and administrative staff of Coleman Independent School District, believe that all students are capable of learning. To foster student achievement, it is our responsibility to provide a wellbalanced curriculum in a flexible arrangement within an environment that is conducive to learning. Our goal is to promote the greatest level of academic achievement within a learning environment that fosters positive growth in social and economic behaviors and develops positive attitudes about self and school, regardless of previous academic performance, family background, socioeconomic status, ethnic background, or gender. We dedicate ourselves and our resources to ensuring that all students will: 1. Learn and attain their greatest possible educational potential. 2. Develop a positive self-image and a positive attitude about school and learning. 3. Acquire knowledge and skills for participation as citizens in the community, state, and nation. 4. The mission of the District is to graduate students with the necessary skills to succeed in their chosen fields of endeavor. This shall be accomplished by setting high expectations for students, demonstrating professional behavior, and eliciting the support and involvement of students, parents, and the community.
