CHILDREN FIRST ACADEMY OF DALLAS
The Children First Academy is a school setting where children will be provided with an opportunity to learn the basic skills in Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Music. Our program will feature a highly focused instructional program for each subject and for each grade level to ensure that students are successful in mastering the skills outlined in the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skils (TEKS) manual, and the objectives as outlined on the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) tests. The highly focused instructional program will be designed by the teachers, principal, and the staff development coordinator. The staff development coordinator will be a person on staff who will assist with the planning, implementation and evaluation of the staff development program. ACADEMY FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
The Dallas County Juvenile Department is charged with the enormous responsibility of rehabilitating youthful offenders. We have learned that to accomplish this task, it takes all stakeholders of the Juvenile Justice System working in unison toward a common goal. All of us, as we serve our three primary customers -- the client and his or her family, the victim and the community at large --- must remember that the decisions we make directly correlates to the offenders' chances of success and, ultimately, to the protection of our community. Our agency appreciates the strong partnerships we have in the North Texas area with law enforcement agencies, school districts, faith-based organizations, community providers, and the many individuals and organizations who volunteer to assist in making a difference in the lives of the young adults we serve and in improving our community both today and tomorrow. DALLAS ISD
The Dallas Independent School District is proud of its award-winning schools, its outstanding teachers and staff, hard-working students and committed parents and volunteers. We are the 14th largest school district in the nation with a diverse population of more than 157,000 students. Serving these students are more than 20,000 employees, making the Dallas ISD one of the largest employers in the city. Dallas ISD boasts several U.S. Blue Ribbon Schools, 30 Exemplary and 67 Recognized schools as determined by the Texas Education Agency and is steadily increasing its graduation rate. DESOTO ISD
With a current enrollment just over 9,000 students, DeSoto ISD is a small, suburban district 15 miles south of Dallas in north Texas. The 23-square-mile district serves students in DeSoto, Glenn Heights, and Ovilla with 12 campuses. The mission of DeSoto ISD is to prepare each student academically and socially to be a problem solver and productive citizen for a 21st century global society.

DUNCANVILLE ISD
Duncanville ISD is home to approximately 60,000 residents within a 28.7 square mile area, and serves the entire city of Duncanville and portions of Dallas, Cedar Hill, and DeSoto. The district currently educates approximately 12,900 students throughout its 18 campuses, including nine elementary schools, three intermediate schools, three middle schools, one high school, and PACE Learning Center, which offers accelerated instruction for non-traditional students. The Summit campus provides educational services within a structured environment to students with behavioral concerns. GRAND PRAIRIE ISD
The Grand Prairie Independent School District is the largest employer in Grand Prairie with approximately 3,372 staff members. More than 2,100 of those are instructional staff. GPISD is a 58-square mile district serving approximately 26,000 students within the Dallas County portion of Grand Prairie. The District boasts 39 campuses, including 25 elementary schools, seven middle schools, two ninth-grade centers, three high schools and two alternative education schools. The District has a diverse student population with 63.1 percent Hispanic students, 17.6 percent black students, 15.1 percent white students, 3.7 percent Asian students, and .5 percent American Indian students. UPLIFT EDUCATION - HAMPTON PREPARATORY
Hampton Preparatory is affiliated with the Uplift Education network of public charter schools. Our school opened in the fall of 2007 with a mere 160 students in grades 5th, 6th, 7th, and 9th grades. Today, we have over 700 students enrolled in Kindergarten through 1st grades and 4th through 12th grades. By the fall of 2013, we anticipate an enrollment of over 1,300 students in grades Kindergarten through 12th grades. We currently have a Recognized rating with the Texas Education Agency for the 2009-2010 school year. MANARA ACADEMY
Manara Academy provides all students with a personalized, supportive and engaging school environment where they can obtain the knowledge and skills necessary to find success as individuals and as members of their community. The objective of the curriculum is to incorporate active, project-based learning, which connects learning across academic disciplines, and to meet the specific academic needs of each student. The daily curriculum will actively engage students in multiple opportunities for language development. A strong emphasis on reading and math in all subject areas will be implemented. REG 10 EDUCATION SERVICE CENTER
Region 10 Education Service Center is one of 20 regional service centers established by the Texas State Legislature in 1967 for the purpose of providing services to the school districts within a defined geographic region. Regional service centers are non-regulatory, have no taxing authority, and provide services for which participation is voluntary on the part of the local school district. Richland Collegiate High School is a unique charter school designed to provide a "rigorous academic experience" for high school juniors and seniors. Students can complete their last two years of high school at Richland College by taking college courses and earning college credits with a focus on mathematics, science, and engineering or visual, performing, and digital arts. Potentially, these students can graduate with both their high school diploma and an associate degree, ready to transfer to a four-year university. TRINITY BASIN PREPARATORY
Trinity Basin Preparatory is a free public charter school that was founded in 1998. Since opening the first campus in 1999 in Oak Cliff, Trinity Basin Preparatory has expanded to provide a safe, disciplined learning environment for more than 1300 students in grades PK3 through 8. Trinity Basin Preparatory now has three campuses in Oak Cliff, providing an education that focuses on language acquisition skills to a predominantly low income Hispanic student base. Winfree Academy Charter Schools is an excellent school for At-Promise students, those who are in need of credit recovery, and a great choice for students who are unable to attend high school during normal school hours. Winfree Academy Charter Schools utilizes a comprehensive high school curriculum that is offered via flexible individualized delivery system utilizing online curriculum and constant availability. Our highly experienced educators are available to help students in the early morning hours, throughout the day, and into the early evening, spending the extra time and the extra care to increase student achievement. They use effective methods of teaching to motivate and nurture the students’ to success.
