Sands CISD covers 218 square miles and is located in portions of Borden County, Dawson County, Howard County and Martin County. The campus is located in Dawson County, Ackerly TX. Sands CISD is a pre-K through 12 facility under one roof. The district is proud of its excellent academic, agriculture and athletic reputation. Enrollment ranges from 190 to 235. The district has 46 employees. All seven board members are elected at large.
