From the Board President, John Armstrong :Sitting in the center of our community is a building that captures my attention every time I pass by. It isn’t the sign board or our great flag flying in front of a beautiful building that grabs my attention. It is the fact that this is where our children spend seven hours a day, five days a week, getting their minds and ideas fertilized for the future; this is where they are challenged and prepared for the remainder of their lives. Each time I pass by, I want to know that my own children are getting the very best education we can give them. For more than 70 years, our community and parents have asked the same questions, and I wonder, “What do you think about as you pass the school?”Each one of the five School Board members either has children in the school or has seen their children walk the aisle at graduation. As a Board, we very much want to see our school continue to be a place that every student and graduate will remember as a launching pad; the place that gave them a great head start on life. Our job is to represent our community and to be intimately involved so that we can pass by the building each day and look at the image not as a building, but as a landmark on the lives and minds of our children.

Mission Statement:The mission of the Willsboro Central School District is to produce a healthy, responsible, productive citizen who values life-long learning and is capable of contributing to a global community. In concert with the community, the school as a learning and training center must provide instruction, which opens the minds to inquiry and reasoning while acquiring factual knowledge. We accomplish this by providing the resources of the whole community in an exciting, interactive environment conducive to learning.
