The Hardin-Jefferson Independent School District, with an enrollment of 2040 students, is a consolidated school district located in a predominately suburban area of Southeast Texas approximately fifteen miles west of Beaumont. The district is composed of ten separate and distinct communities encompassing two counties, Hardin and Jefferson, and covers approximately 255 square miles.
