Our community is located on Hwy 84 just 20 miles from the north loop in Lubbock, Texas. We are a 1A school district with tremendous pride and community values. Our motto is "Expect the Best". We strive to be the best in all that we do including academics, athletics, co-curricular and especially in citizenship skills. We are extremely proud of our school, community and staff.

Levelland Independent School District builds partnerships with parents and our community that enhance student success. We are proud to be a part of this vibrant community. Levelland ISD is located in Hockley County and is the heart of an agricultural and oil producing area in the South Plains of Texas. The district includes the city of Levelland, which is located approximately 25 miles west of Lubbock. The mission of Levelland ISD is based on the acronym P.R.I.D.E. Students in Levelland ISD will be PREPARED for college, career, and being productive citizens. Levelland ISD students will RESPECT the education process, teachers, and discipline. The INTEGRITY of Levelland ISD will be shown through consistent actions and demonstration of character. The educational process at Levelland ISD will be DEPENDABLE, maintaining a safe environment and ensuring the highest level of education. EFFORT will be made to establish and promote district wide pride in Levelland ISD.

The Ropes Independent School District was founded in the 1920's. Consisting of 250 square miles, the district has 348 students in PK through grade 12. The student population is 50.3% Anglo, 48.6% Hispanic and 1.1% African American. Excellence in academic scores as well as UIL competitions are prized by the school district. In the 2002-2003 school year the district added 38 new computers, 3 media projectors and 1 new laser printer. Internet access as well as distance learning and interactive video laboratories are available to all students in the district. The district has 62 employees and is the fiscal agent for Choices High School, an alternative education cooperative.

It is the mission of the Sundown Independent School District for our students to acquire critical academic and lifelong learning skills. Preparing our children to be productive in a changing future necessitates an excellent education system that involves parents and community members in the education and character development of all students. Our system must be characterized by the highest levels of quality. Accountability must be maintained for demonstrated results and continuous improvement.

Whitharral ISD prides itself on its "Commitment to Excellence" and has a strong winning tradition in both academics and athletics. The administration, faculty, and staff work hard to prepare students in all grades for a successful life beyond public school. Our school has an enrollment of around 180 students in grades K-12. This enrollment includes many transfer students from area towns.
