Each school day, the district welcomes more than 6,880 students through the doors of its 12 campuses, including seven elementary schools, three middle schools, and two high schools. USD 232 encompasses an area of 100+ square miles in northwest Johnson County. It draws from the communities of De Soto, 60 percent of Shawnee, 40 percent of Lenexa, a portion of Olathe, and unincorporated areas of the county.
USD 232 has a record of steady, marked improvement and a continual quest for excellence. One hundred percent of our schools achieved Adequate Yearly Progress and the Kansas Standard of Excellence.

Gardner Edgerton USD 231 serves the communities of Gardner and Edgerton in the southwest corner of Johnson County, Kansas. At the heart of two growing communities, Gardner Edgerton schools currently house approximately 4,700 students. The district includes six elementary schools (K-4), two middle schools (5-8) and one high school (9-12).
