Mission Statement: Vysehrad Independent School District's students will be taught a curriculum based on state and district adopted courses of study. The needs of independent and individual learners will be addressed with effective communication and flexibility in the learning atmosphere. The district will strive to ensure that students will become productive and participatory citizens of a democratic society which includes competence of mathematical and communication skills. A district capable of accomplishing the mission stated must be of quality, equity, accountability, and cooperation. Students, parents, school personnel, and school board must work together, to insure all students achieve their maximum potential.
