The students of LCCTC come from the eight high schools in Lawrence County. While our students spend their days here learning valuable skills, they continue to be involved in extra-curricular activities at their home school.

The New Castle Youth Development Center (NCYDC) provides secure programming for adjudicated delinquent males and is located in Lawrence County, approximately 50 miles north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Union Area School District is located in Lawrence County and made up of Union Township and the Independent District of Edinburg. The school district sits in a scenic, suburban community located 50 miles northwest of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The mission of the Union Area School District is “Commitment to Excellence Today; Youth Preparing for Tomorrow”.
The Wilmington Area School District straddles the Mercer/Lawrence County line, and covers an area of 111 square miles. The District includes the Lawrence County townships of Plain Grove, Pulaski, Washington, and Wilmington, the boroughs of New Wilmington and Volant, and Wilmington Township, Mercer County. The District is a member of the Midwestern Intermediate Unit (IU) IV in Grove City, which includes Butler, Lawrence and Mercer counties.
