ALLENTOWN CITY SD
The Allentown School District is part of 17 square miles that encompass the City of Allentown – with a total population of 118,032 (US Census, 2010). The richness of the City's diversity is strengthened by the District's central role in educating for America's future through academic excellence and celebrating the cultural, athletic and artistic range of talent in the schools. ASD students originate from 43 countries and speak 26 languages. 22 schools throughout the City support a labyrinth of beautiful neighborhoods in Allentown.

CARBON-LEHIGH IU 21
The Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit #21 (CLIU), located in Schnecksville, Pennsylvania, is an Educational Service Agency created by an Act of the General Assembly of Pennsylvania to help equalize educational opportunities for all students in the Commonwealth. The CLIU serves as the coordinating agency that brings together diverse school districts, vocational schools, businesses, higher education and community groups. The CLIU uses a "regional team" approach and through cooperation and collaboration among school districts and community agencies, provides innovative, responsive, and cost-effective programs. It is the job of the Intermediate Unit to facilitate inter-district cooperation, provide educational and administrative services to schools, and function as a link between the Pennsylvania Department of Education and local school districts. CLIU provides a broad range of services to fourteen public school districts, non-public schools and two Career and Technical Institutes of the Carbon and Lehigh counties. Our services include: Curriculum and Instruction, Staff Development, Educational Technologies, Special Education Services, Non-Public School and Behavioral Health Services. Additionally, the CLIU also offers technology solutions through our Management Information Systems department as well as Business, Human Resources and Management services in community and educational settings.

CENTENNIAL SCHOOL LEHIGH UNIV
Centennial School is governed by Lehigh University and the College of Education, with funding through the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Located in Bethlehem, PA, Centennial pursues two principal missions: Serving children and youth with educational disabilities; Preparing high quality teachers to enter the workforce of special education.

EAST PENN SD
The East Penn School District is located in the Lehigh Valley's metropolitan area which has a total population of a half million people. East Penn is noted for its academic excellence. Of the Class of 2011, 55% are attending four-year colleges or universities, 24% are attending two-year colleges and 3% are attending business, nursing or technical schools for a total of 82% seeking higher education. Twenty (20) advanced placement courses and 23 honors courses are offered at the high school. There are classes for special needs students and academically gifted on all levels. Student activities include dramatics and musical performances as well as an active club program. At the secondary level, 22 varsity and 12 junior varsity sports are offered with over one-third of the students participating. The East Penn staff consists of approximately 542 professional and 422 support members. 83.2% of the teachers hold a master degree or beyond. In addition to attending many workshops and conferences each year, every professional employee participates in various workshops and training activities through the Employee Development Program to enhance their particular skills. Members of our professional staff are resource persons for state, national and international conferences, adjunct college professors and published writers and researchers.

PARKLAND SD
The Parkland School District is located in a suburban-rural setting approximately 60 miles north of Philadelphia and 70 miles west of New York City in the semi-metropolitan region known as the Lehigh Valley. The regional population is approximately 600,000 including Allentown, the third largest city in Pennsylvania. Mission Statement: Through the collaborative efforts of students, staff, parents and the community, the Parkland School District mission is to empower each learner to be a meaningful contributor in a dynamic global society.

ROBERTO CLEMENTE CS
Roberto Clemente Charter School (RCCS) is a school of choice that draws its students from the city of Allentown. The school started in 2000 with middle school students, progressively added a high school program, and by school year 2008-2009 housed 320 high school and middle school students. Mission statement: Roberto Clemente is a small learning community that inspires and educates students to maximize their success. The school provides students with a rigorous academic foundation using a holistic approach. The school also challenges students to excel and to acquire the knowledge and skills that they will need to be successful in college and secondary level study and to be lifelong learners.
