School District 13 shall provide equal educational opportunity and treatment for all students without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, sex, marital status, previous arrest or incarceration or non-program-related physical, sensory or mental handicaps.
All staff shall encourage students to explore and develop their individual interests in career and vacational technical programs and employment opportunities without regard to sex including reasonable efforts encouraging students to consider and explore "non-traditional" occupations for men and women.

Libby Public School District #4 is located in the northwest corner of Montana. Libby is the county seat of Lincoln County. Glacier National Park is about a two hour drive to the east, and the Canadian/US border is approximately eighty miles to the north. Spokane, Washington, is 165 miles to the southwest of Libby and the Idaho/Montana border is 45 miles to the west.
The Libby School District serves a community of 11,000 with one elementary school (K - 4), one middle school (4 - 8), one alternative school (7-12), and one senior high school (9 -12). The total student population is approximately 1400 students.

Troy Public Schools is K-12 School district located along the banks of the Kootenai River in the rugged mountains of northwest Montana. You can reach Troy by traveling along U.S. Highway 2 just 15 miles before you reach the Idaho panhandle. Troy boasts of being the town with the lowest elevation in the state of Montana at 1880 feet above sea level. The rugged mountains near Troy include those of the Cabinet Mountain Wilderness area. Logging and the wood products industry were once major employers of Troy's residents. Today many of those who live in Troy work at the Troy silver and copper mine, Troy School District, or the U.S. Forest Service. During the summer there are numerous places to hike, fish, boat, and raft. Snowmobiling, snow shoeing, and skiing are favorite winter sports.Troy Public Schools educate approximately 400 students in grades K-12. Students in grades 7-12 attend Troy High School while students in grades K-6 attend W. F. Morrison Elementary
