Offering small town living with a friendly hometown atmosphere, Eldon is located on U.S. Highway 54 and Highway 52, where urban amenities are just a short drive away. The town has earned the state designation as an “All Missouri Certified City” by completing the Missouri Community Assessment Program and creating a Comprehensive Master Plan. Eldon is a diverse economy supported by both the agriculture and manufacturing industries as well as retail, medical and professional services.

  St. Elizabeth R-IV School is a K-12 district located in the heart of Missouri near the Lake of the Ozarks, approximately 26 miles south of Jefferson City. With 250 students in all grades, the district is known for its academics, parental support, student attendance, low-dropout rates, and student involvement in extracurricular programs. A student's academic potential is enhanced by the A+ Schools Program, extensive tutorial services, and technological resources. St. Elizabeth R-IV School is truly an outstanding academic institution dedicated to improving student performance. In 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011, the district received the status of "Accredited with Distinction in Performance."
