The New Caney Independent School District is located approximately 30 miles northeast of Houston in East Montgomery County serving the residents in the Porter, New Caney and Kingwood communities. Splendora ISD encompasses an area of 77 square miles and a student population of 3,500. It is the smallest school district in the county, but one of only three schoolwide Early College High Schools in the state, and the only one in the state with an 8th grade Early College Outreach Program. Additionally, Splendora High School offers 13 career pathways providing students numerous skills and certifications. Maintaining small-school charm, but providing large-school technology, Splendora residents take pride in its school district. Our vision: All Splendora Independent School District graduates will be responsible learners, competitive workers, and productive citizens in a global community. Our mission: Splendora Independent School District will provide the environment to assess and support student progress to assure that our students are successful in higher education and competitive in the global workplace.

Willis Independent School District is nestled between the Sam Houston National Forest and Lake Conroe. Located approximately 45 miles north of Houston, the district encompasses 126 square miles in Montgomery County and 32 square miles in San Jacinto County. The mission of the Willis Independent School District is to develop in each student the knowledge, skills and behaviors essential for life-long learning and for productive, responsible citizenship.
