  Located in the "Slate Belt of northeastern Northampton County Pennsylvania, the Bangor Area School District encompasses 87 square miles serving the boroughs of Bangor, East Bangor, Portland, and Roseto. Also serving the townships of Lower Mount Bethel, Upper Mount Bethel, and Washington. Offering a challenging curriculum based on academic standards set by the PA Department of Education.   The Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School is an educational partnership with the Bethlehem Area, Northampton and Saucon Valley school districts. The school is Located in Bethlehem Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. BAVTS serves, approximately, 1,200 students on a half-day about delivery system (students spend ½ day at their sending high school and ½ day at our facility) through career and technical instruction in twenty-eight (28) unique programs of study within seven career clusters. Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School is a student centered career and technical facility working to meet the needs of our diverse student population through challenging, integrated educational experiences of curriculum and community support. In cooperation with all of our shareholders we provide a roadmap for success regardless of what career path our students choose.

• CAREER INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

  
  

  At the Career Institute of Technology, occupational, professional, and academic skills are integrated throughout each program. Courses are designed to provide you with the skills and confidence you need to create and maintain an atmosphere which contributes to your entire process of learning and succeeding. The mission of Career Institute of Technology is to provide career and technical education in a safe and active environment. Students will leave CIT prepared to start careers and continue their education.

• COLONIAL IU 20

  
  

  The Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 (CIU20) is one of 29 intermediate units throughout Pennsylvania. They were created in 1971 to provide services to school districts in ways that create economies of scale, cost savings, and better efficiencies in the delivery of important programs and services to children, especially those with special needs. We also play an important role in providing substantial support services to the administrators and teachers in the 13 school districts that comprise IU 20. Our overall mission as an intermediate unit is: to strengthen and supplement local school district programs and services to children and their families; to provide leadership without dominance; to provide assistance without interference. Specifically, our mission at IU 20 is to be a resourceful community partner supporting student growth through education, social services, and business initiatives.

  The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts provides a rich and comprehensive educational program for students with talents and potential in either dance, instrumental music, vocal music, theatre, figure skating or visual art.   Northampton Area School District is located in the heart of the Lehigh Valley. Covering 97.3 square miles in Northampton County, the school district is comprised of the boroughs of Bath, Chapman and Northampton; and the townships of Allen, East Allen, Lehigh and Moore. The population of the district is more than 38,500.   Saucon Valley School District is located in Hellertown, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Bethlehem. The community is actively involved in its schools and has high expectations for its students.The school district is consolidated in a single, state-of-the-art complex, the SVSD Campus, as of September 1999. This new state-of-the-art Education Campus offers unparalleled facilities and classrooms that are wired and networked for the Information Age. The Education Campus' unique design encompasses 106 acres which include the Saucon Valley High School, Middle School and Elementary School all contained under one roof. Included on the campus are a freshwater stream, ball fields, playgrounds, stadium and track facilities.
