The Appleton Area School District (AASD) has a rich, 157-year history of educational excellence, coupled with a commitment to continue to improve our ability to meet the educational needs of our present and future students. FREEDOM AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT
The Freedom Area School District, located between Appleton and Green Bay in east-central Outagamie County, serves 1620 students from PreKindergarten through grade twelve. Included within the District's seventy-six square miles are beautiful rolling hills, wooded parcels, meandering streams and level farm lands, all within minutes of the Fox Valley. Freedom Area School District offers families the beauty and peace of a rural setting, proximity to larger cities for work, recreation and shopping, and a commitment to quality education. The mission of the Freedom Area School District is to develop in our youth a continuing desire to learn. To this end, educational programs which fit the appropriate developmental abilities, needs and interests of our students will be provided on an equal basis. With this goal in mind, appropriate academic, cognitive, emotional, physical, social and vocational skills will be developed in our students.

KAUKAUNA AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT
The KASD is an excellent school system which is located on the northeast side of Appleton. The system includes early childhood through 12th grade. We have approximately 4,100 students and approximately 500 staff members. Vision Statement: The Kaukauna Area School District will educate students to be effective life-long learners who can successfully meet the challenges of their lives and be positive contributors to society. Mission Statement: The Kaukauna Area School District, in partnership with our community, will provide a rigorous and relevant curriculum through best instructional practices which emphasize student achievement and accountability, delivered in a safe and caring environment.

KIMBERLY AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT
Dedicated to student success, the Kimberly Area School District is located in an area known as the Heart of the Valley in the Fox Cities metropolitan region. The district encompasses an area of approximately 17 square miles and serves approximately 4,800 students in four elementary schools (4K-4), two intermediate schools (5-6), one middle school (7-8), one charter school (8-12) and one high school (9-12). Student Excellence in achievement is our Mission. Kimberly teachers are caring, individuals dedicated to their students and profession. They focus on improving student learning through standards-based teaching and assessment. Implementation of best professional practices drives improvement efforts. The school district has committed major resources to improve the reading, writing, and math performance of all students and has allocated significant resources to professional development of both teachers and administrators. The district also focuses efforts on building community values and asset development in our youth.

LITTLE CHUTE AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT
Dedicated to “fostering a community of learners”, the Little Chute Area School District is the premier small school district located in the Heart of the Valley in the Fox Cities metropolitan area. The district serves approximately 1,500 students in one elementary school (PreK-4), one intermediate school (5-6), one middle school (7-8), one high school (9-12) and one charter school (Little Chute Career Pathways Academy (9-12). The districts unique size offers a more personal approach to student learning, yet we offer expansive course offerings at our high school and Academy to meet the diverse academic needs of all our secondary students. SEYMOUR COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT
We are a community of learners dedicated to the creation of an environment where children can be successful. Thanks to the efforts of our talented and dedicated employees, a strong and supportive Board of Education, involved and committed parents and a community that values what our school district has to offer, our children have the opportunity to take advantage of a rich and varied PK-12 educational experience. Our goal is to provide an environment where all children can learn to the best of their abilities. We are committed to building and sustaining positive learning experiences where all students develop essential skills necessary to positively contribute to our ever changing world. We promote the use of technology in the classroom and support our teachers in their efforts to integrate technology within classroom learning opportunities. We value our communities’ strong support of our school system. With the support of our communities, the Board of Education has been able to establish a 4-year-old kindergarten program utilizing collaborative community partners. In addition to the 4K program, our school system provides fully functioning K-2 Primary Centers at both Black Creek and Seymour. The Board of Education also operates outstanding 3-5 Intermediate and 6-8 Middle Schools as well as a comprehensive 9-12 Senior High school. Each of our five schools offers a wide variety of educational opportunities for children and provides environments where all students can learn.
