Rains ISD is a TEA “Recognized” school district with 1650 students and four campuses. RISD competes in UIL activities in Region II Class 3A. We host a variety of activities for students including bass fishing, theatre, band, robotics, vocational agriculture and many more, as well as competitive UIL academics and athletics. It is our goal to have every student involved and connected as a member of the RISD Wildcat family. We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to educate your children, and it is a responsibility we do not take lightly, but rather boldly, to prepare our students to be college and career ready. Our staff is committed to our students and their ultimate success as a productive member of society in an ever-changing world. We are especially thankful for the communities that make up RISD, Point, Emory and East Tawakoni. Each community bands together for a common purpose in supporting and promoting quality education for our students. Together we can achieve greatness and that is our destination!
