MISSION STATEMENT: Eldred Central School prepares citizens to participate in a global society

The Fallsburg Central School District is comprised of two outstanding schools. Benjamin Cosor Elementary School (serving grades preK-6), and theFallsburg Jr./Sr. High School, (serving grades 7-12).Benjamin Cosor Elementary School serves the community with distinction. Approximately 740 students are based in our newly renovated elementary school. Small class size enhances the dynamic and nurturing learning environment. Our caring and professional staff of 75 emphasize critical thinking, verbal and written communications and computer skills. They strive to develop students into becoming lifetime learners.Fallsburg Jr./Sr. High School serves approximately 750 students in grades seven through twelve. Students are taught leadership and responsibility through our work/study programs. Seventy-five percent of all Fallsburg High School Students go on to college. Scholarship awards have always been prized at Fallsburg. More than $25,000 is raised in privately generated local monies for deserving graduates.

A main focus of instruction at Liberty focuses around the district-wide PBIS program, or Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports. PBIS focuses on students’ positive behavior and encourages students to take responsibility for their actions and for their school.

Elementary:The mission of the Livingston Manor Elementary School is to be the foundation of learning for students who can succeed now and at their next level of education. We believe our children can reach their greatest potential and become healthy, well adjusted life-long learners. In cooperation with the parents and community, we will provide a curriculum that meets the needs of all students, taught by a supportive staff, in a creative environment, that is safe, nurturing and conducive to learning.Middle School:The Livingston Manor Middle School is dedicated to the healthful development of each child -- intellectual, physical, social, and emotional -- in a supportive atmosphere which stimulates discovery, nurtures a success, recognizes effort, involves parents and community in the learning experience and encourages students and staff to strive for excellence.High School: Our mission is to be the best school possible for all students by ensuring competent graduates who have a healthy, positive self-image and the desire for lifelong learning. This will be done by providing a challenging, well-defined curriculum taught by a competent, caring and professional staff who stay current with the latest research. This will take place in a safe and nurturing environment that fosters success.

The Monticello Central School District is in Sullivan County, NY, centrally located between New York City, Albany and the Pocono Mountain region. This provides a rare combination to live in a rural setting and still be close to major metropolitan areas for recreation and career.
