Tenino, Washington, population 1,530, is a bedroom community located 26 minutes south of Olympia and about an hour and a half west of Mount Rainier National Park. Our city is rich in history, with the first settler to arrive in 1849. We’re a close-knit community that supports quality education. Our rural District consists of two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. The faculty and staff at all of our school sites are excellent motivators, who encourage and educate their students with enthusiasm.
