We are a small district and school on the south side of Lake Geneva. Our school is independent of other schools in the Lake Geneva area, but our students feed into Badger High School. We strive to ofer our students the latest in technology: MacBooks, iPads, PC computer lab, and interactive white boards. We are one of only a handful of schools in the state where our ?fth through eighth grade students carry their own laptops throughout the day and take them home as well. We have plenty of space to play outside and great playground equipment to use. We strive to ofer the same-or-better opportunities that larger schools provide.
-
Reek Elementary school is located on the south side of scenic Lake Geneva, minutes from the Illinois border. We offer our students the intimacy of a small country school while providing a research based curriculum developed within a larger system. Our staff strives to challenge and nurture our students as they grow academically, emotionally, socially, intellectually, culturally and personally. At Reek School our goal is to build a positive community where our students achieve excellence.

The mission of the Sharon Community School, Sharon, Jt. District #11 is to provide an educational program that ensures equal educational opportunities for all children. These opportunities should be offered in a positive and healthy environment wherein students can develop self-esteem and individual potential. Achieving this will permit them to begin to acquire the intellectual, social, physical, and cultural attitudes and skills important to live in a democratic society and function in a diverse and changing world. The Sharon Board of Education believes that fulfilling the mission is dependent on a strong partnership between students, parents, staff, administrator and members of the community. This partnership becomes the foundation for excellence in educational programming and the children in it.
