DERRY AREA SD
The school district is approximately 109 square miles in area and is composed of three municipalities, Derry Township, Derry Borough and the Borough of New Alexandria. Proud of our heritage and rich in tradition, our goal is to provide students with the educational background necessary to reach their greatest potential. Our superior staff, with dedication to work for the total development of the students, is our greatest asset. Efforts to achieve our goal have been enriched through the excellent cooperation and support of the community and the parents of our students.

DR ROBERT KETTERER CS INC.
Dr. Robert Ketterer Charter School, Inc., located in Latrobe, PA, was chartered in 1998 to provide educational services to more than 200 disruptive youth. The Dr. Robert Ketterer Charter School works in partnership with Adelphoi Villlage, a private, non-profit agency providing community-based treatment services for at-risk youth and their families. The Dr. Robert Ketterer Charter School provides educational services for its charter district, Greater Latrobe School District, as well as for youth from nearly 60 counties and 70 public school districts throughout Pennsylvania. The only Charter School in Westmoreland County, the Dr. Robert Ketterer Charter School believes that all students can be motivated to learn through the use of content matter that is relevant to their lives and through increased opportunities for individualized attention.

EASTERN WESTMORELAND CTC
The Eastern Westmoreland Career and Technology Center is a part-time career and technology center located in Latrobe, Westmoreland County. The CTC serves over 575 students from three public school districts: Greater Latrobe, Derry Area and Ligonier Valley. EWCTC offers 15 programs in one of five career clusters—Automotive, Construction, Communications and Information Technology, Manufacturing and Services. Students can obtain nationally recognized certification in 13 of our 15 programs. At EWCTC we believe that high levels of both academic knowledge and technical skills are vital to student achievement. As educators it is our business to create opportunities for students and to provide the support needed for success. Effective interpersonal skills are essential to success in all aspects of life. It is our belief that the responsibility for improving student achievement is shared by students and teachers and is actively supported by parents and the business community. It is our goal to focus on rigor, relevance and relationships. Mission: All students will complete a rigorous, relevant program that equips them with the knowledge and real world skills necessary to succeed in both post secondary education and 21st century careers.

FRANKLIN REGIONAL SD
The Franklin Regional School District serves the communities of Export, Murrysville and portions of Delmont. It is located approximately twenty miles East of Pittsburgh. With over 3,700 students and nearly 400 staff members, the district operates three Elementary schools (Heritage, Newlonsburg, and Sloan), a Middle School, and a Senior High School. We, the Franklin Regional School community strive for excellence, learning, achievement and citizenship in all we do.

GREATER LATROBE SD
The Greater Latrobe School District is located in southwestern Pennsylvania at the foothills of the Laurel Highlands. It is approximately 50 miles east of downtown Pittsburgh and 30 miles southwest of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. U.S. Route 30 bisects much of the district, which encompasses the City of Latrobe, Youngstown Borough, and Unity Township, with approximately 30,000 residents. We take great pride in being a student-centered school district with diverse course offerings and high academic standards for our pupils. We strive to be progressive in promoting teaching techniques that appeal to the various learning styles of pupils. During strategic planning, members of the community who represent various businesses, industries, and parent organizations challenged educators to develop and use assessment systems that are results-oriented. Our Strategic Plan emphasizes the development of communication skills and mathematics. Specifically, we expect our students to write and to write well. Additionally, students will be asked to participate in the development and delivery of speeches, and their ability to read and write will be assessed through standardized and local testing measures. In mathematics, we have implemented pre- and post-testing and quarterly assessment procedures at various grade levels. This program is designed to streamline the curriculum so that we avoid unnecessary repetition and prepare students to make practical application of concepts taught in mathematics.

Our Mission: The Greensburg Salem School District will work collaboratively with the community in educating all students to become productive and responsible citizens. This will be accomplished by recognizing the value of each individual and promoting personal growth and academic achievement through the implementation of innovative strategies and the integration of current technologies in a safe and caring environment.

HEMPFIELD AREA SD
Hempfield Area School District, the largest in Westmoreland County, with a resident population of over 49,000, covers approximately ninety-five square miles and lies thirty miles southeast of Pittsburgh. The school district, comprised of Hempfield Township and the boroughs of Adamsburg, Hunker, Manor, New Stanton and Youngwood, surrounds the city of Greensburg.

Jeannette City School District establishes a strong commitment to Academic Excellence for all students while providing opportunities for participation in many sports and extracurricular programs. The Ligonier Valley School District is home to approximately 1700 students from 9 municipalities. We are pleased to serve families from the communities of Bolivar Borough, Cook Township, Fairfield Township, Laurel Mountain Borough, Ligonier Borough, Ligonier Township, New Florence Borough, Seward Borough, and St. Clair Township. Being more than 230 square miles, Ligonier Valley is one of the largest geographical districts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Our diverse academic opportunities, enhanced technology integration, committed family and community support, and a dedicated and knowledgeable staff have been trademarks of the District. We pride ourselves in strong student achievement, successful athletic performance, and accomplished artistic endeavors. The mission of the Ligonier Valley School District is to prepare all students to excel as productive, responsible citizens and lifelong learners, through a caring partnership of family, school and community.

MONESSEN CITY SD
Monessen, a very caring and unique school district, relies on versatility in meeting the needs of our very special young people by assisting them to become productive citizens and confident individuals in our own and world community. The School District of the City of Monessen is composed of two buildings, the Elementary Center and the Middle/High School. The present enrollment for the district is 1,120 students.

NORWIN SD
The Norwin School District is comprised of the municipalities of North Huntingdon Township, Irwin Borough and North Irwin Borough in southwestern Westmoreland County. There is also a small portion of the School District (18 properties) in neighboring Allegheny County in White Oak Borough and South Versailles Township. MISSION STATEMENT: Through quality educational experiences, the Norwin School District prepares students to become productive and responsible citizens in an ever-changing global society.

Westmoreland Intermediate Unit #7 serves Westmoreland County to include seventeen school districts, Clairview School, and three Westmoreland County Career and Technology Centers, under the direct supervision of its board of directors and central administration.

The Yough School District is a rural public school district located in southwestern Westmoreland County. The District offers a comprehensive educational program in Grades K-12, beginning with Full Day Kindergarten. We offer a wide range of services to meet the needs of all students.
