  DISTRICT MISSION STATEMENT: The mission of the Alba-Golden Independent School District is to provide the best educational system in the state for preparing the children of our district to live and work successfully in the changing future. The Alba-Golden Independent School District is committed to the philosophy of providing a quality educational program that allows each student to realize his or her maximum potential in all core curriculum areas. The district will provide quality instruction equitably to all students and will be accountable for demonstrated results and continuous improvement.

• HAWKINS ISD

  
  

  Hawkins ISD is a rural school district located in East Texas 20 miles north of Tyler. Hawkins is classified as a 2-A district with a student enrollment of approximately 758. Our Mission: Hawkins ISD accepts the responsibility to prepare students for lifelong learning by providing a quality education in a safe environment through partnership with our community.

• MINEOLA ISD

  
  

  Mineola Independent School District has more than 1,580 students and encompasses approximately 90 square miles. Mineola schools have Yellow Jacket pride developed through successful academic, athletic, band, vocational agricultural and theater programs. Mineola High School is a TEA Recognized campus and the Primary, Elementary, and Middle School campuses are rated Academically Acceptable. MISD is rated by TEA as an Academically Acceptable School District. The District’s patrons, Board, and staff are dedicated to the proposition that all students are entitled to and shall receive a safe, efficient, effective, and appropriate education in preparation for the remainder of their lives.

• WINNSBORO ISD

  
  

  We value the rural environment while preparing students for global competition. WISD is committed to lifelong learning for both students and staff. We are an outstanding public school district located in the piney woods of northeastern Texas. The district encompasses about 170 square miles of Wood, Franklin, and Hopkins counties. All three of our campuses, elementary, middle, and high school are state recognized. With over 1400 students, we excel in both academics and athletics. Surrounded by beautiful lakes and gentle farmland, our students enjoy all of the pleasures of an outdoor life. Our girls’ basketball team has won state three out of the last ten years and our football team was bi-district champs last year. Our band was a finalist at UIL marching contest in 2007.
