We have two campuses in our District: an elementary campus, serving students in kindergarten through 6th grade, and a junior-senior high campus, serving students in 7th-12th grade. We believe that being a small town and District is a great advantage to us. It allows us to have open lines of communication between home and school, and each child gets individualized attention in class. Chester Newton Charter and Montessori School and Sunnyside Charter and Montessori School are AZ Charter Schools in Camp Verde, Arizona. We provide educational services for students in grades K-5 (Chester Newton) and middle school students grades 6, 7 & 8 in Sunnyside. Both our Charter Schools are free to all students K-grade 8. We also have a fee-paid pre-school on our campus for children potty-trained through age 4 for those who qualify. Students may enroll for kindergarten if they are age 5 by Dec. 31. Kindergarten students are tested for placement.

The vision of Desert Star Community School, a Waldorf Inspired Charter School, is to nurture and inspire a community of learners through an innovative, holistic approach to education. Seligman USD #40 is a small rural school district located on Interstate 40, seventy-six miles west of Flagstaff and seventy-four miles east of Kingman. We serve approximately 180 students in grades K-12.
Skull Valley students attend multi-age classes; students learn in K -3rd grade and 4 - 6th grade groups with full-time teachers. While the focus is on quality academics, there is also an emphasis on character education and community service. Each year, students participate in charitable fund-raisers, do litter pick-up, and take a special bus trip to Prescott to visit with seniors in the Pioneer Home.

Yavapai County Juvenile Detention School
(This school is fully accredited by North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools).
The Detention School, staffed with highly qualified, Arizona State certified teachers, and provides education for court-adjudicated children ages 8 - 18. Coursework is largely designed based on Individual Education Plans to meet the needs of each student, and instruction/assessment aligns with Arizona State Standards.
