About School District: Educators, parents, and community members are committed to supporting the high quality of education offered to our children in this District. We are proud of the level of achievement by our students on New York State assessments, the outstanding musical performances, art and theatrical events, and our athletic teams’ accomplishments .While parents have the opportunity to be actively involved with their children’s education through participation in the various membership organizations such as the PTA and Site-Based Teams, regular communication between home and school is also encouraged. In addition to our District's artistic, musical, theatrical performances, and athletic competitions, the community is also welcomed to attend Site-Based Team meetings and Board of Education meetings to keep current with what’s going on in the schools.Along with community input and guidance from the District's Administration, the Board of Education has successfully set goals, developed policy, and implemented programs that are preparing Sayville students for the global economy of the twenty-first century.
