PROPEL CS-MCKEESPORT
About School District: Propel McKEESPORT is Propel's second school, opening in 2004 and serving 400 students in grades K-8. In March 2010, Propel McKEESPORT was named the single top performing elementary school from a nationwide consortium of charter schools that includes the recognized leaders such as KIPP, Aspire and Uncommon Schools. It was the second consecutive year that Propel McKEESPORT received an Effective Practice Incentive Community (EPIC) Award from New Leaders for New Schools, most recently receiving the award in the "Gold Gain" category. Gold Gain is EPIC's highest honor, awarding schools making the greatest gains with student achievement.
