ACLD TILLOTSON SCHOOL
About School District: Over the decades the ACLD Tillotson School has developed a highly effective special education program for students challenged by complex Specific Learning Disabilities and related disorders. The school is coeducational and was founded in 1972 by a not-for-profit corporation, ACLD, Inc., An Association for Children and Adults with Learning Disabilities. It is located in the South Hills section of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The ACLD Tillotson School is licensed by the PA State Board of Private Academic Schools and approved by the PA Department of Education’s , Bureau of Special Education to educate students who cannot receive an appropriate special education program in the public schools. Our school is located in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh and provides education to children and school districts within a seven- county region: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Washington, and Westmoreland.
