About School District: The SC School for the Deaf and the Blind is the state’s only specialized school for students who are deaf or blind. The main campus is located in Spartanburg, but the school serves students throughout the state through its campus and outreach programs. The school’s mission is to ensure that the individuals we serve realize maximum success through high quality education programs, outreach services and partnerships. The school’s long-term vision is to be the statewide leader in education and accessibility for individuals who are deaf, blind or sensory multi-disabled.
