All Wilson County Schools and the Board of Education are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement. The school system has lowered pupil-teacher ratios, employed reading and math coaches, increased the number of teaching assistants, and increased the number of counselors, added school nurses and a School Health Coordinator as a way of providing better service to the students of Wilson County. Wilson County has worked to improve its delivery system of educational technology. Library/Media Centers, offices, and classrooms are wired for Internet access.
