About School District: Dodd City ISD is located in the small bedroom community of Fannin County, Texas approximately an hour and a half northeast of Dallas. Our town was originally part of Red River County, named for the Red River that runs close to our border. We not only have a town rich in history and tradition but also one that is extremely supportive of education. Mission Statement: Educating Students to be productive in a changing society.
