About School District: Our Students - Gholson students are bright and hard working. They consistently excel on state assessments and go on to perform very well in High School and beyond. Our Staff - The high quality staff at Gholson ISD is one of the major reasons for the success of Gholson students. 100% of Gholson teachers are certified in their area and are rated as highly qualified based on standards of the No Child Left Behind Act. Our Parents - Parents are an important part of the Gholson ISD team. Parents are supportive of school efforts and work with the staff to continuously improve the quality of education for the children of Gholson Our Library - The Gholson School Library has seen tremendous improvements over the last several years. With over 13,000 volumes the Gholson Library has one of the highest book to student ratios in the state. Our Attendance - Gholson students love to come to school and show this with an attendance rate of over 96%. Our School Board - Gholson ISD is fortunate to have a wonderfully supportive School Board. This decicated group is the foundation upon which the success of Gholson ISD is built.
