About School District: Marfa ISD is a 1 A school district with just over 300 students. We have approximately 70 faculty and staff members serving our 2 campuses, Elementary (PreK-6th Grade) and Junior Senior High School (7th-12th Grade). Marfa ISD pursues rigorous academic standards with outstanding ESL, Gifted & Talented, Special Population, Athletic, Vocational, and Technology programs in addition to its core courses. Marfa ISD remains Academically Acceptable by the Texas Education Association. Mission Statement: Marfa ISD will involve students, families, and the community to provide superior educational opportunities for lifelong learning.
