About School District: Onalaska ISD is a 2A District that consists of two campuses that provide education to students ingrades PK-12. The Elementary school has two buildings with one containing grades PK-3 and the other 4-6. The Elementary includes the Jackie R. Harvard Gymnasium, a Cafeteria and a Professional Development Center. The Junior-Senior High School contains a Gymnasium, Band Hall, Cafeteria, Agriculture Shop and Facilities, a Green House and athletic fields in addition to 35 instructional classrooms. Mission Statement: The Onalaska ISD is responsible for preparing its students to live and work in a changing society. In order to be successful in this mission, the school district must accopmlish the following: • Prepare students to be lifelong learners. • Provide students with balanced curriculum. • Assist students in developing good citizenship and economic responsibility. • Help students develop an appreciation oftheir American heritage and its diverse cultural richness. • Assist students in developing positive attitudes toward learning and to appreciate the importance of learning to their future.
