SANFORD-FRITCH ISD
About School District: Sanford ISD was organized in 1928 and encompasses slightly more than 35 square miles. The district's name was changed to Sanford-Fritch ISD in 2005. It is located in the heart of the Panhandle and along the southwest shore of Lake Meredith. Sanford-Fritch ISD is accredited by the Texas Education Agency and provides quality education for Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. Also provided are Gifted and Talented programs and special educational programs as well as a vocational educational program in secondary school. The mission of the Sanford-Fritch Independent School District, in partnership with parents and community, is to graduate young men and women who have the academic, social and practical skills needed to succeed in our competitive, global and ever-changing society.
