The Broadalbin-Perth Central School District spans three counties - Fulton, Montgomery, and Saratoga. The Gloversville Enlarged School District serves approximately 3,100 students and covers an area of 82 square miles. It includes the entire city of Gloversville, as well as the town of Bleecker and parts of the towns of Johnstown, Caroga and Mayfield.The District is comprised of seven different school buildings: Meco/McNab Elementary for students PreK-1, McNab/Meco Elementary for students 2-5, Park Terrace Elementary for grades K-5, Boulevard Elementary for grades K-5, Kingsborough Elementary for grades K-5, Gloversville Middle School for grades 6-8, and the High School for grades 9-12. GESD also offers Universal Pre-Kindergarten programs at Boulevard and Meco Elementary for all district children."Building a Bright Future for Our Community" is GESD’s mission statement that reflects the importance of empowering all Gloversville students to achieve success today and in the future.
The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to recognize and honor Johnstown High School graduates who have distinguished themselves in their profession, humanitarian or civil affairs, or activities that merit special recognition.
The Mayfield Central School District serves approximately 1,000 students in the towns of Mayfield, Northampton, Johnstown and Broadalbin in Fulton County, on the southern border of Adirondack Park."All students can learn" has been more than a mission statement. It has been a call to action for students, parents, administrators, teachers and everyone associated with the school district.Mayfield serves students in grades pre-K through 6 at Mayfield Elementary School, located on North Main Street in the village. Students in grades 7-12 attend Mayfield Jr./Sr. High School on School Street. The School Street building also houses the district office.
The mission of the Northville Central School District is to assure that all students acquire knowledge and develop the skills and work habits to enable them to become productive members of society. The Board of Education of the Northville Central School District is dedicated to educating students to understand and appreciate the rights and responsibilities of American citizens, enabling these students to function effectively as independent individuals in a democratic society. The mission is best accomplished when school personnel maintain high expectations for all students, create a positive school climate, ensure a safe and orderly school environment, monitor students' progress on a frequent basis and promote effective home-school communication. Students must be educated to meet many new challenges which will confront them in a world which is forever changing. With each student, individual potential and the desire to learn will be considered. Support Services will be provided to promote the physical, mental and emotional attributes of the student. The entire academic program will promote good work habits, self-discipline, integrity, and self-confidence.
Our mission is to empower all Oppenheim-Ephratah students for the choices and challenges of life in the 21st century. This is accomplished by providing a safe and orderly environment where learning is valued. Instruction will be all inclusive of students from minority cultures, students of both sexes, students from homes where English is not spoken, students with handicapping conditions, and gifted and talented students.
MISSION STATEMENT : The Wheelerville Union Free School District will be competitive with similar elementary/middle schools within New York State and be able to successfully meet the standards established by the Board of Regents for such schools. Students will develop strong moral, ethical, emotional, intellectual and cultural values along with a desire to pursue a continuous learning process. They will cultivate an understanding and appreciation of the rights and responsibilities of American citizens and be prepared to achieve the most complete life possible within their individual needs, interests, and abilities. While remaining fiscally responsible, our mission is to provide the best staff, materials and equipment necessary to make this possible.
