All students will acquire knowledge of citizenship and economic responsibilities and an appreciation of our common American heritage as well as our individual multicultural backgrounds. To the full extent of their individual abilities, students will be provided the opportunity to develop the ability to think logically, independently, creatively, and to communicate effectively. Realizing that we are a small community, we need to adequately prepare our children socially and academically for competitive life outside our community. Teaching personal accountability, sound ethics, and wise decision-making, are important. Educating our children to be productive in a changing future necessitates an excellent, progressive educational system. A system that can accomplish this mission must be farsighted, and be characterized by quality, accountability, and community involvement.
